Amy and Andy's Excellent Adventure - 2016 Edition

We haven't left yet - still a few more days valiantly focusing at work and not drifting to all the things left to be done before we leave...

So, where are we going?

Peru!

Lima was a one-day stop on our cruise last December. And now we're going back - not just to Lima, but to the usual Peruvian "bucket list" sites, including Machu Picchu.

Originally, this trip was slated for 2017. 2016 was going to be the National Park Grand Circle tour. But on the cruise last December, we kept hearing that sometime in the next few years Machu Picchu would be closed off to tourists. Obviously we had to get there before that happens!

So no cruise - a land tour from the Amazon rain forest to Machu Picchu and Lake Titicaca.
